Download the menu-bar provider app and connect your Mac computer. New providers are welcome. The app advertises only capabilities supported by its installed version, and the service separately checks the current catalog and exact model before dispatch. Balanced mode backs off when your computer is busy or warm. Verify your email and accept the Provider Agreement before receiving paid work. Jobs depend on device eligibility, current policy, and network demand; earnings are not guaranteed.
Requires Apple silicon — an M1-based Mac computer or later. The provider app and current MLX runners are built for Apple-silicon hardware and do not support Intel-based Mac computers.

First launch
This build is Developer-ID signed, notarized by Apple, and stapled — so it opens normally, with no Gatekeeper warning and no right-click workaround. Drag it to /Applications and open it. Create a provider account, verify your email, and sign in to the app to register your Mac computer. Review and accept the Provider Agreement to become eligible for paid work. Future updates install silently in the background via Sparkle, and every one is EdDSA-signature-checked before it is allowed to replace the app.Setup outline
Install the provider app
Setup for new and existing providers. Work is not guaranteed and depends on current policy, demand, and exact workload/model eligibility.
- Click Download for macOS and open the DMG.
- Drag Common Compute.app to /Applications.
- Create a provider account on the web and verify your email, then launch the app and sign in.
- Review and accept the Provider Agreement in the app or on the web before receiving paid work.
- Choose Balanced or Idle-only mode, then keep the Mac computer awake and on power.
